Tenet (2020) Movie Runtime: Length, End Credits, and Available Versions

Tenet (2020), Christopher Nolan's action sci-fi thriller, runs 150 minutes (2 hours 30 minutes). It has no mid-credits or post-credits scene, and it was available theatrically in IMAX, 35mm, and 70mm, then on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, DVD, and digital. That length sets viewing plans. The credits run about six minutes, so most viewers can leave when the story ends unless they want to watch names roll.

  • 2.20:1 70mm: wide film presentation
  • 2.39:1 35mm: standard cinema scope

Which home version should you buy?

Collider reports Warner Bros. Home Entertainment issued Tenet on 4K UHD Combo Pack, Blu-ray, DVD, and digital on Dec. 15, 2020, with preorders from Nov.

Choose Blu-ray for strong picture at lower cost, DVD for older players, and digital for immediate access without shelf space.

What did the reissue add?

TheWrap reports a later theatrical reissue in 70mm IMAX, IMAX digital, and 70mm film across major U.S., Canadian, and select international cities, in TheWrap's reissue report. The draw was exclusive Dune: Part Two footage attached to Tenet.

That program suited repeat viewers and large-format fans. First-time viewers gained the same core film, while Nolan-format collectors gained another chance at film projection.
