As of September 29, 2026, JustWatch lists Disney+ as the U.S. subscription streaming home. You need an active Disney+ login to watch that version.
Rent or Buy Digitally
Hoppers became available to rent or buy digitally on April 28, 2026. The New York Post reports launch stores as Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home in the New York Post home-watch report.
Digital pricing varies by store and quality. The New York Post cites about $24.99 to rent and $29.99 to buy on Prime Video, while Moviefone lists offers from $5.99 to rent and $19.99 to purchase. Check HD versus 4K before paying.
What About Netflix and Free Streams?
Hoppers is not on Netflix for U.S. streaming.
Moviefone identifies Disney+ as the subscription streaming option instead. There are no legal free-without-subscription streaming options in the United States. JustWatch reports no free option and offers a notify bell for future free availability, so expect to use a theater ticket, rental, purchase, disc, or Disney+ subscription.
Which Option Should You Choose?
Disney+ fits repeat viewing and households that already subscribe. Rental fits a single family movie night without adding another subscription.
Rentals usually allow a limited viewing window after you press play. Purchases cost more upfront but remain in your digital library.
- Choose Disney+ for included streaming with an active subscription.
- Choose rental for one-time viewing at the lower upfront price.
- Choose purchase for rewatching, bonus features, and offline access.
