Who is Niki White?
Leo Woodall stars as Niki White, a working piano tuner in New York. Paramount+ describes Niki as gifted with heightened hearing and perfect pitch. Those traits let him hear the inner workings of a safe.
That ability changes his livelihood. Tuning work keeps him inside music rooms and homes. Safe-cracking pulls that same listening skill into theft.
Who guides and grounds him?
Dustin Hoffman plays Harry Horowitz, the older tuner who works alongside Niki. Paramount+ presents Harry as both coworker and mentor. His illness and medical bills push Niki toward criminal jobs. Tovah Feldshuh plays Marla Horowitz, Harry's wife.
El-Balad lists Marla as part of the family circle around Harry. Her presence gives Niki's choice a personal cost. Havana Rose Liu plays Ruthie, a composition student. Paramount+ describes Ruthie as Niki's budding romantic partner. Their relationship is strained by his secret theft work.
Who represents crime and music power?
Lior Raz plays Uri, the criminal who recruits Niki. El-Balad and Reelgood identify Uri as the handler who exploits Niki's ear for safes. He connects musical talent to organized theft. Jean Reno plays Marius Maissner, a famous composer. According to Reelgood's watch guide, Marius is an intimidating maestro figure.
He stands over the classical world Niki and Ruthie want to enter. The wider cast includes Nissan Sakira, C.S. Lee and others. HOYTS Cinemas lists the film at 109 minutes. Release dates differ by market.
