Who returns from No Way Home?
Holland returns as Peter Parker / Spider-Man, now anonymous and working at street level. Marvel presents this reset as the starting point for the new film on the official movie page.
Zendaya returns as MJ and Jacob Batalon returns as Ned Leeds, Peter's former girlfriend and best friend. NME lists both as confirmed returnees in the full confirmed-cast rundown. Neither character remembers Peter when the story begins.
Which heroes cross into Peter's story?
Jon Bernthal joins as Frank Castle / Punisher, moving his vigilante from Daredevil television into a Spider-Man film. The Hollywood Reporter, via ANI, reported the casting in the Punisher casting report.
Mark Ruffalo co-stars as Bruce Banner / Hulk, reportedly as a college professor who supports Peter. That pairing links Peter's local fight to wider Avengers continuity.
Who are the street-level villains?
Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan / Scorpion, paying off the Homecoming post-credits tease. Marvin Jones III appears alongside him as Tombstone.
The two give Peter grounded, physical opponents after multiverse villains. Expect prison ties, gang territory, and ambush fights rather than world-ending portals.
- Mac Gargan / Scorpion: escaped convict seeking revenge
- Tombstone: organized-crime muscle in Peter's neighborhood
- Frank Castle / Punisher: violent vigilante with overlapping targets
Who plays the key newcomers?
Sadie Sink joins as a new lead, widely reported after release as Jean Grey. Marvel kept the part secret before release, so early lists billed her as undisclosed.
Liza Colón-Zayas plays Detective Jean DeWolff and Tramell Tillman plays Bill Metzger in supporting roles. Watch their scenes for police procedure, campus life, and how ordinary New Yorkers react to Spider-Man.
