Who starts in the house?
Floyd is a cleaner resting on a client's couch during a job. Katie Sarife plays Lacey, the armed woman coming for him. Jon Lee Richardson plays Floyd, Joshua Snyder plays Floyd's double, and Ericka Kreuz plays Ms.
Wilson. Floyd gets increasingly frantic phone calls warning that Lacey is coming to kill him. Den of Geek describes the calls as retaliation for something terrible Floyd says he does not understand in its plot breakdown.
How does the shooting happen?
Lacey storms in shooting and hunts Floyd through the house. She fires through a door, then finds his hiding place behind the couch.
She shoots directly through the couch cushions where Floyd cowers. ScreenRant details this couch shooting as the killing blow for the Floyd who had been asleep in its ending explanation.
What does the second Floyd mean?
A second figure steps out right after the first Floyd dies. He has the same Floyd face, covered in blood and smiling.
Lacey screams as the screen cuts to black. ScreenRant reads the moment as Lacey killing the wrong man while the bloodied double committed the act she meant to avenge in its ending explanation.
How to catch the twist on rewatch?
Watch the phone warnings first because they frame Floyd as confused and passive. Then track Lacey's line of fire from the door to the couch.
The short streams free on That's a Bad Idea after its Oct. 29 YouTube premiere. Pause on the final reveal and replay the couch shots to see the face switch clearly.
