Which premium drama should you start with?
Radical stars Eugenio Derbez as teacher Sergio Juárez Correa. TelevisaUnivision says the ViX original premiered on the premium tier January 26 after becoming Mexico's top local-language theatrical release since the pandemic, according to TelevisaUnivision's Radical release announcement. TelevisaUnivision identifies Radical as a premium hit movie alongside the comedy ¿Quieres ser mi hijo?.
That pairing makes them the clearest premium-first choices for new viewers. If you want one serious film this month, pick Radical. If you want one lighter premium pick, pick ¿Quieres ser mi hijo?.
What does each tier give you?
ViX operates a free ad-supported tier alongside Premium and Premium with Ads tiers for Spanish-speaking viewers in the U.S., Mexico and most of Latin America via mobile, connected TV and vix.com, according to TelevisaUnivision's Premium with Ads announcement. The lineup combines premium originals, movies and live sports with a large free library. Premium with Ads costs $4.99 per month in the U.S.
for 17,000-plus hours of premium programming with limited ads, plus 70,000-plus hours from the free tier. That structure matters because some highlighted films sit in premium while others stream free with ads. Use this quick check before browsing:.
- want Radical or ¿Quieres ser mi hijo? — plan for premium access
- want The Man from Nowhere or Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In — look for the free-with-ads option in the U.S.
