Will the RDA Turn on Quaritch?
In the latest Avatar movie, Fire and Ash, Colonel Miles Quaritch fights hard for the RDA, the big human company trying to take over Pandora. But fans wonder if the RDA might turn against him soon. Quaritch is now in a Na’vi body, not his old human one. He leads attacks with the Ash People, a tough Na’vi group led by Varang. They team up to beat Jake Sully and the good Na’vi. Quaritch still wants to help the RDA colonize Pandora. The company needs the planet because Earth is dying. General Ardmore says they must tame Pandora for humans. Quaritch pushes this goal, even scorched earth tactics like the Ash People. But his son Spider sides with the Na’vi. Spider saves Quaritch before, but stays loyal to Jake’s family. The movie ends with big battles. Jake duels Quaritch near a magnetic vortex that wrecks RDA ships. Quaritch almost dies but escapes. Later, he jumps into fire laughing, with Neytiri aiming her bow. Right now, no sign the RDA turns on Quaritch. They need his skills against the Na’vi. He is hard to kill, coming back after death in the first film and a near-drown in the second. But his Na’vi ties and Spider link might change him. The RDA wants full control. If Quaritch wavers, they could see him as weak. Varang pushes fire and power, matching RDA goals.
