About Find This Movie
Find This Movie helps people identify films they can’t remember. Whether you recall a specific scene, a vague plot detail, or just a feeling the movie gave you, we have the tools and guides to help you track it down.
How We Started
Find This Movie was started in 2024 by Steve Moreno, a film researcher who spent years helping people on Reddit’s r/tipofmytongue identify forgotten movies. After personally helping identify over 3,000 films from vague descriptions, Steve saw the need for a dedicated resource that combined search guides, curated tools, and AI-powered identification in one place.
What We Offer
- AI Scene Finder: Describe a movie scene and our AI identifies the film in seconds. Built from the same methodology Steve developed through years of manual identification work.
- Search Guides: Step-by-step guides for finding forgotten movies using databases, online communities, and advanced search techniques.
- Tools and Resources: Curated list of the best movie databases, AI identifiers, and community platforms for tracking down films.
- Film Analysis: In-depth articles about movies, streaming trends, and film technology to help readers discover and understand cinema.
- Personal Help: Email us your movie description and we’ll help track it down.
