Will Jake Die in Avatar 3?
Avatar: Fire and Ash, the third movie in the Avatar series, came out in 2025 and picks up right after the events of Avatar: The Way of Water. Things get tense fast. Neytiri starts hating humans even more because of what happened to Neteyam. Spider, the human kid raised by the Na’vi, bonds with Kiri over taming sea creatures, but Quaritch ambushes them and grabs Spider. Quaritch then shows up at the Metkayina village with a fierce group called the Ash People, led by Varang. He demands Jake surrender to stop a war. Jake gives himself up to protect everyone, and he ends up at the RDA’s Bridgehead City base along with Spider. At the base, Neytiri sneaks in to rescue Jake. Spider breaks free too and uses himself as a shield since the humans want to study his ability to breathe Na’vi air. They escape together, but Jake and Neytiri fight over Spider’s risks. In a shocking moment, Jake almost kills Spider to keep the family safe but stops at the last second, overcome by emotion. Neytiri finally welcomes Spider fully into the family.
The RDA plans a huge hunt on the Tulkun, those giant whale-like creatures. Jake warns the Tulkun council, but they stick to their no-fighting ways at first. Lo’ak brings in Payakan and a survivor from a past attack, changing their minds. Jake bonds again with Toruk, the big flying predator, and calls all Na’vi clans to fight the RDA and Ash People together.
Now, to the big question: does Jake die? No, Jake Sully survives the movie. He leads the final battle as Turok Makto, the great warrior rider, uniting everyone against the invaders. Quaritch teams up with the Ash People and paints himself like them, but Jake makes it through alive. The ending leaves some mysteries, like what happens with Kiri, Eywa, and Varang’s group, but Jake keeps fighting for his family and Pandora.
