In Fire and Ash, Quaritch teams up with the Ash People, a fierce Na’vi clan called the Mangkwan who love fire and war. Their leader, Varang, played by Oona Chaplin, is a new threat who pushes Quaritch into unfamiliar ground. Stephen Lang, who plays Quaritch, says his character feels right at home with them.
